Joe Yorke
Joe Yorke
Joe Yorke, a singer and composer from North-West England, discovered his passion for music in his teenage years, influenced by punk, folk, and reggae. His experience at the 2006 Notting Hill Carnival inspired him to dive deeper into the UK soundsystem scene. Moving to Moss Side, Manchester, he became involved in the local dub and reggae community, collaborating with musicians like Eeyun Purkins and playing in "Black Star Dub Collective." Over the years, Joe has expanded his musical influences, blending Jamaican rocksteady, dub, soul, and techno. Now based in Bristol, he has gained recognition in the reggae scene, releasing multiple albums and performing at major festivals.
